Hidden off the famous La Rambla I "discovered" La Boqueria Market.  La Boqueria was a maze of stalls selling everything from fresh fish to candy skulls.  I walked around and allowed myself to get lost in the twists and turns of the market, the sounds of animated sellers, and foreign smells of exotic seafood.  The experience sent my senses into overdrive.
The deeper I wondered into the market the less crowded it was and the more I was amazed by the atmosphere. The hordes of people thinned out except in front of a few well know bars (El Quim and Pinotxo being the most famous). I wanted to take so many pictures but feared I would anger the stall owners. I stole a few pictures as stall owners looked away.
As with any maze I somehow ended-up where I started. Before I exited La Boqueria Market I stopped at one of the many freshly-squeezed juice stalls. For €1.50, I couldn't resist . The freshly-squeezed pineapple-banana juice was a perfect start to my day in Barcelona.
