Since January 2010, I've traveled back and forth to Pune, India several times for work.  While in Pune I spent my weekends: bargaining for colorful pashminas in Mumbai, watching the sunrise over the majestic Taj Mahal and sailing the calming backwaters of Kerala to escape the vibrant and exciting but often chaotic work life in Pune. While working in another country I was constantly thinking about the limited amount of time I had there.  So I pushed myself to experience it all.  Now back in the United States I spend my weekends watching Anthony Bourdain, An Idiot Abroad, and Samantha Brown wondering how they got so lucky.  Well it’s time for me to get my lazy butt off the couch and stop watching other people live the life I want.  I'm going to use this blog as a way to connect to people like myself, who dream of one day escaping the corporate rat race and traveling the world while they're still young and free.  I'll mostly write about travel but as a fashion addict and photography lover, I can't limit myself.  I truly hope this blog inspires you to travel more.  Let the journey begin...
This blog is dedicated to my grandmother (Iya) who told me to write it all down.
